MP Aoun: STL Established Amid International Scheme to Control Lebanon, Hariri is One of the False Witnesses

Head of Change and Reform Bloc MP Michel Aoun said the duality is not allowed despite the presence of a total national stream, adding that his party will have great effect in light of its cooperation with other sects.

In an interview with the Russian TV, Aoun added that the Lebanese passed through a tough stage, in which a Sunni-Shiite conflict was about to happen, but was tackled.

Michel Aoun stressed that change in Lebanon will be radical, believing that combating corruption must begin from top to bottom.

Concerning the Special Tribunal for Lebanon's file, Head of Change and Form Bloc affirmed that the STL was established amid an international scheme to seize control of the Lebanese internal affairs.

In this context, Aoun wondered why some sides are atill holding on to it [STL] despite the violations it had committed.

He further added that Lebanese Caretaker PM Saad Hariri is one of the false witnesses and should be questioned.
