Berri to As-Safir: Things Heading in the Right Direction

Speaker Nabih Berri told As-Safir daily in comments published Wednesday that Premier-designate Najib Miqati would "form the government this week after some parties refused to join the national salvation government," assuring "Things are heading in the right direction." 

In this context, the paper mentioned that the Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani during his meeting with Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri stressed the importance of making use of circumstances in the current time.

Al Thani addressed Berri saying "You are before a rare chance to improve the political and economic situation in Lebanon. Lebanese should not miss this precious chance as they did earlier."
