Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri accused the other team of turning Lebanon into a land of debts through the financial policy they followed.

In this context, Berri said, "The other team took over the Ministry of Finance, sealed its doors and banned us from even monitoring it for over the years".

On another level, Speaker Berri referred that in Lebanon, the parties agreed on the Special Tribunal on the dialogue table, before its program arrived in Lebanon, and before the constitution was breached by sending the request to the UN.

Berri stated that the problem lies in the way the unconstitutional government followed to sign the tribunal's agreement with the UN, referring that the President did not know about, and the parliament did not approve it, affirming that the investigations relied on the false witnesses.

Speaker Berri reaffirmed his stance with a tribunal that would lead to the revelation of the truth, and not the fabrication of one, expressing optimism regarding the implementation of the Taef accord in both its constitutional and reform sides.

Berri added that the foreign image of Lebanon, is the image of the economically, administratively paralyzed country, referring that throughout the government, Lebanese foreigners were never scheduled to participate in the general political life.

On the level of the government, Speaker Nabih Berri urged that the issue of Sayyed Moussa As-Sader would be a concern of the new government in its first meeting, in addition to the prosecution of Moammar Al Qathafi and his regime, considering this to be a fair national case.

Lebanese Speaker demanded the government to issue a modern election law, in addition to lowering the voting age, also referring to the importance of hanging on to the resistance, and the people, army, resistance equation, as a guarantee to confront any aggression.

Speaker Nabih Berri addressed PM designate Najib Miqati saying that the Amal Movement will support the path into liberating the government from all obstacles preventing it from doing its social duties. Berri further pointed out that the new government should include in its ministerial council, the issuance of oil law decrees.

In another context, regarding Egypt's revolution, Berri considered that this revolution came to change the economic and social regime in the country. He added after Green Tunisia's Jasmine revolt, the Egyptian revolution came to plant democracy in the Arab world, God willing towards Palestine.
