March 8 Sources: New Government to Be Established to Serve National Interests, Protect Resistance

Well informed March 8 majority sources told As-Safir newspaper that the new government will be formed to serve the supreme national interest, including protecting the resistance.

The source added that all sides are approaching the enhancement of the power and resistance forces in Lebanon, in order to protect it from "Israeli" aggressive schemes on the security, political, and economic levels.

Furthermore, the same source hoped that the national Sunni figures would play an important role in forming the government, despite what has been said about its possibility of not participating.

The daily added that the March 8 sources urges speed in the government formation, in addition to investing in internal stability in light of the regional popular revolution, in order to take advantage of the Arab transitions on the political and economic levels.

The source stated Lebanese officials received advice from Arab friends, the thing which led to maintain the Lebanese stability, in addition to a secure political environment.
