Berri: No Worries on Government Formation, Process Still Within Normal Timeframe

Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri reassured the Lebanese on Wednesday that "There are no worries on the government formation process, adding that the process was still within the normal timeframe. He said that previous prime minister designates took around six months to form a government.

In remarks to An-Nahar and As-Safir dailies, Berri said: "The time (Najib Miqati) is taking in forming the government is still within the normal and natural limit." He pointed out that most of the time was frittered away in negotiations with the March 14 forces before they declared their rejection to participating in the government.
