Wikileaks on Mubarak: He Scorns Hamas, Hates Palestinians and Shiites
The Wikileaks scandals on "conspirers" continue to surface as more cables are leaked through Al Akhbar Lebanese newspaper, as well as other media outlets occasionally.
In the new batch of Al Akhbar leaks, the documents discuss meetings that reveal the hatred of ousted Egyptian President Husni Mubarak towards Hamas, the Palestinians and Shiite sect.
According to the cable, Mubarak scorns Hamas movement, and mocks it particularly when it asked for international guarantees concerning the current negotiations (through Egyptian mediators at the time) on the release of the "Israeli" soldier Jilad Shalit.
Mubarak, according to the leaked documents, reassured his American guest that he will try hard to convince the Palestinians that "Israel" will not accept the conditions of Hamas on the Shalit release.
In the document published by Al Akhbar newspaper, Mubarak seems to be Tel Aviv's messenger to the Palestinian Authority despite the fact that communication was ongoing between PA leader Mahmoud Abbas and "Israel".
Also, according to the cables, Mubarak did not hesitate to show his worry from the increasing power of Shiite citizens, particularly in Iraq, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. One of the cables quoted Mubarak as saying "The entire region is threatened by an increasing Shiite power," warning the Americans from trusting the Americans.
Mubarak: Palestinians Only Care about Taking Arab's Money
The ousted President also criticizes Palestinians saying all they care about is to take the money of the Arabs. "These Arabs are guilty for presenting their money too," Mubarak said according to one of the cables.
In another cable, Mubarak denied he knew anything about the presence of any Iranian revolutionary guards in Lebanon.
