Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Ramin Mehman Parast deplored on Friday the US decision, leading to passing a resolution against Iran's human rights condition.
Mehman Parast described the decision as biased and unfair.

The United Nations Human Fights Council (UNHRC) voted on Thursday for appointing a special human rights rapporteur to monitor Iran's human rights condition, after US pressure to announce this resolution.

Iranian Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson affirmed that the aforementioned resolution is "highly politicized", stating that it was adopted after US pressure.
Mehman Parast stated, "The aim of the resolution was to put pressure on the Islamic Republic and to further side track the current process of the UN Human Rights Council's periodic review of the human rights situation across the world".

He also referred to a previous UNHRC case filed against the US, representing a horrible human rights situation in the country.

"The US policies both in deeds and words have always been paradoxical and predicated upon double standarts, and the recent resolution clearly exemplifies such behavior", Ramin Mehman Parast confirmed.
