Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad demanded the stop of the US and European countries' interference in the regional affairs.

In a telephone conversation with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, President Ahmadinejad stated that those countries [US, European] adopt a double standard policy, where it interferes in Bahrain and Libya, while it remains silent in the face of the Zionist enemy's crimes.

Iranian President added that the UN must play a strict role in resolving all current disputes and problems in the region, adopting dialogue and understanding, in order to prevent further calamities like those that took place in Afghanistan and Iraq.
