Hoss: Syria Events Aim at Dismantling Resisting Arab Countries, Enhancing “Israeli” Security

Head of the National Unity Platform, Lebanese former PM Salim Hoss said all Arabs acknowledge Syria's role regarding its national commitment to refuse any agreement with the Zionist entity, or even any openness whether in a direct or indirect way.

In a statement issued Monday, Hoss added that Arabs in Lebanon and the rest of the region fear that Syria's special national position would deteriorate due to the current events and developments. Former Lebanese PM clarified that the foreign factors, causing the escalation in the Syrian tension, reveal the prior planning to achieve a deterioration of Syria's stance in confronting the US-"Israeli" scheme in the Arab region.

He further noted that the aforementioned scheme aims at spreading factors of separation and division between the Arab countries and nations. Salim Hoss pointed out that the scheme also aims at dismantling effective Arab countries into becoming dispute countries; therefore "Israel's" security would be enhanced, safe and sound.
