Hamdan to Al Intiqad: Palestinian Reconciliation, A Hard Hit to Zionist Occupation
Local Editor
Head of Hamas Politburo in Lebanon Ossama Hamdan congratulated the reconciliation between Palestinian factions, including the Hamas and Fatah movements. In a statement to Al Intiqad, Hamdan said that the reconciliation is done while the steps to follow are more important, which includes executing the clauses of the deal. He noted that great effort is being done to avoid any Western impediment to this reconciliation.
Hamdan further assured that the reconciliation constitutes a program to control the conflict rather than a settlement process with the occupation. Hamdan also pointed out that the Zionist occupation has been trying hard to sow strife and tension to reinforce division among the Palestinians, and so the reconciliation comes as a hard hit to the Zionist occupation.
Ending his statement, Hamdan said "We adopt the resistance choice in face of ending the Zionist scheme, and so it is a major issue that the Palestinians unit and revolve on this concept."
