New Mass Grave in Jisr al-Shughour
A new mass grave containing the bodies of Syrian security and police forces murdered by armed terrorist groups was uncovered on Monday in Jisr al-Shughour in Idleb governorate.
The mass grave was uncovered in the presence of 70 Arab and foreign diplomats, in addition to many correspondents of mass media sources. The delegation inspected the mass grave discovered at al-Abyadh River, western Jisr al-Shugour, and the security center destroyed by armed groups after killing its members.
Forensic Examiner Zaher Hajjo pointed out in a press statement to the atrocity of those crimes through the situation of bodies which have been mutilated and cut into pieces.
Adding that the cause of death is intensive shooting and explosion, he noted that he "has never seen such cases in his life which reflects the horrible crimes committed by armed groups against security and police officers".
Jamal Suleiman, who owns a quarry near the crime location, said, "On June 6th, a number of cars came and asked my youngest son to bring a vehicle used for digging to the location under threats. He dug a large hole and when he finished they brought out of the cars more than 20 bodies and buried them in the hole."
