Jalili: Resistance Improves Lebanon’s International Status

Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary (SNSC) Saeed Jalili hailed the Lebanese resistance against aggressive powers, saying it improves the country's international status.
"The resistance of Lebanon against aggression, occupation and terrorism has improved the country's position in the region and turned it into a stable country," said Jalili in a meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Sunday.
Clarifying that Lebanon's independence and security are the outcomes of resistance, Jalili "expressed hope that the new Lebanese government will bring welfare and peace to the Middle Eastern country."
The Lebanese minister said that Beirut enjoys amicable relations with the Islamic Republic in various fields calling for the speedy implementation of joint projects.
