Peretz Escapes UK Arrest Warrant

The so- called "Israeli" Justice and Foreign ministries advised Peretz, who was in New York to cancel his trip to the UK.The former "Israeli" war minister refused to cancel his visit in which he was scheduled to give a speech at a London university.

Following the advice, Peretz decided to play a trick out of fear; he e-mailed the university administration to inform it that he had to cancel the trip for personal reasons.

As in the war, Peretz's strategy failed. The word of his trip eventually reached anti-Zionist activists who renewed the efforts to issue a warrant against the criminal. The "Israeli" war minister established then the MK to push his return up from Sunday to Saturday evening - a move that evidently saved Peretz embarrassment, as the arrest warrant was eventually issued right after his departure.

Peretz refused to comment on the incident, saying only that "I do not intend to run away from anyone."
