Salehi: Muslim Nations Should Foil Foreign Discord Plots

The Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has sent separate messages to his counterparts in Islamic states, offering felicitations on the propitious occasion of the Eid al-Fitr.
Salehi, in the letters issued on Wednesday, further hoped ever-increasing progress, success and well-being for all Islamic nations.
Salehi also passed on good wishes to the Muslim nations across the world on the august event, which marks the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
He touched on the regional developments which are inspired by the Islamic Awakening and called for further vigilance, unity and cooperation among Muslim states to foil plots aimed at sowing discord among the Muslim nations.
The Iranian FM also expressed hope that Islamic states and nations, aided by lofty Islamic teachings of solidarity and unity as well as tapping into their cultural and religious commonalities, will surely achieve a due mutual understanding and dialog, enabling them to effectively preclude foreign interference in their internal affairs.
