Salehi: Let US Show Evidences on Alleged Plot

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi announced Monday that his country is willing and ready to look at evidence that an alleged Iranian man plotted to kill Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States.
Denying that the allegations had any "necessary basis in fact, Salehi told the Islamic Republic News Agency that "we are prepared to consider any issue, even if it is falsely created, with patience. We have asked the US to provide us with the relevant information regarding this scenario."
"Iran has always fulfilled its international commitments and denounces the dubious acts by so-called advocates of anti-terrorism struggle," Salehi added.
"Condemning the US authorities' anti-Iran approach," he said "Washington, by making hue and cry against the Islamic Republic, wanted to mislead the world public opinion."
Urging "Saudi authorities to be more cautious towards such US scenarios," Salehi reiterated that "the Islamic Republic of Iran has been established on the basis of logic and human principles."
"Iran, itself, is a victim of terrorism while it has never been involved in any terrorist operations," the FM noted.
