Russia Warns “Israel” of Military Strike on Iran, Says Will Lead to Major War
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev accused on Tuesday the "Israeli" entity of using "dangerous" rhetoric" that would possibly lead to a war against Iran.
After meeting with his German counterpart Christian Wulff in Berlin, Medvedev indicated that a threatening atmosphere was being created by "Israel". This comes in light of media speculations that Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak were considering a military strike on Iran.
The Russian President stressed that it was now vital to calm the situation and open talks, affirming that "the threat of a military strike could lead to a major war".
Russia has always criticized the US and "Israel" for sanctions imposed on Iran, and for threats of military interference, believing that Iran's nuclear program is used for domestic developments far from any military goals.
