Egyptians Vote, “Israel” Fears Another “Islamic” Victory
Nine months after the revolution succeeded in ousting the former tyrant Hosni Mubarak, Egypt is now witnessing the first, hopefully, "democratic elections" in the country.
Security forces were spread around voting offices amid fears that the vote might be interrupted by violence, Agence France Presse reported.
"It was no use to vote before. Our voices were completely irrelevant", said voter Mona Abdel Moneim, who referred to the time when Mubarak was still president, and votes were always meddled in.
However, this democracy does not bring any promises for the "Israeli" enemy, especially in light of the drastic change and awakening the region has witnessed.
After the Islamic Tunisian Party Ennahda (Renaissance) won the democratic elections, the Egyptian elections which kicked off on Monday are also expected to result in the victory of an Islamic party as well.
In this context, Haaretz Zionist daily implied "Israeli" fears of the upcoming stage, especially after the liberty revolutions later took the path of anti-"Israel" protests in the heart of Cairo's Tahrir Square. During many popular demonstrations, Egyptians have been calling for the halt of diplomatic ties with the Zionist entity, as it has caused a deterioration of Egypt's position in the Arab world, and in the Egyptian economic-political rank.
The aforementioned has been raising the "Israeli" enemy concerns, for the Egyptians are proving that they will no longer tolerate any rule that would not meet their national patriotic demands. If the "Israeli" enemy lost the Egyptian front in the region for good, it would be in a very poor position.
