Syria Lays Its Martyrs To Rest
Syrian martyrs who were victims of the two terrorist attacks that hit Damascus Friday were escorted from the Umayyad Mosque to their final resting place on Saturday after the noon prayers.
Meanwhile, thousands of Syrian citizens flocked to the Umayyad Mosque to participate in escorting the martyrs who passed away after two terrorist attacks claimed the lives of 44 martyrs and wounded 166 of civilians and military persons.
Bodies of the martyrs arrived in the Mosque, wrapped up with the Syrian flags where ceremonies of the escort began amid cheers of the participants who underlined determination to the Syrian national unity to foil the conspiracy to which Syria is exposed.
In his speech during the funeral, Sheikh Mohammad Said Ramadan al-Bouti considered that "the attacks were the gift of Burhan Ghalyon and his comrades to Syria."
Wondering about "the extent of the happiness of Ghalyon and the opposition who insist to bring the reform through enemies that come from overseas", al-Bouti addressed the Arab League's observers by asking: "Have the covers become unveiled in front of the AL's representatives to see who the killer is and who is the killed."
