A highly ranked Syrian source revealed to Al Intiqad online newspaper that the twin bomb explosions last week in Kfar Sousa in Damascus, didn't only target the intelligence headquarters, but also targeted the virtual convoy of head of the military security division in Damascus' rural region, Rustom Ghazali, and head of the Syrian intelligence directorate Ali Mamluk.

The source confirmed that "there are non-Lebanese groups that sneaked into Syria through the north and Bekaa six months ago, and this is serious information on which Defense Minsiter Fayez Ghoson relied on in his latest statement".

Moreover, the statement indicated that the Syrian security apparatuses are focusing in this stage on examining where were the Damascus bombings planned and prepared. The apparatuses have around one week to finish their investigation regarding the attack, and they are now conducting a highly-accurate and intelligent work to put an end for the armed groups.

As for Syrian officials in Damascus, the source added that they are very concerned of the security events taking part, and they are currently tackling the issue in order to avoid its spread in different Syrian regions, and therefore they are confident of the firmness of President Bashar al-Assad's regime.
