Syrian Ambassador: Conspiracy in Syria at Weakest Point, Crises Ought to Shrink
Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali announced that the conspiracy staged against Syria is currently "at its weakest point and not its strongest position".
He indicated that the "recent maneuvers conducted by the developed weaponry and live artillery, confirmed the Syrian army's efficiency and possession of high techniques", iterating that it is in total readiness.
In an interview with an-Nour radio station, Ambassador Ali confirmed that the "enemies are aware that Syria is ready and prepared for any possibility, and it has confident in its army and people".
Moreover, he indicated that many facts are being revealed, and some of which are presented by the Syrian media. Syria's Ambassador to Lebanon further clarified that there is clear concern by "some Lebanese officials and political leaders regarding the situation in Syria, yet the borders between both countries need more control".
In this context, Ambassador Ali stressed that the individuals smuggling weapons through borders shouldn't be called traders, but should be held responsible for the trouble they are causing.
"Syria is keen on brothers and friends, and is confident of its success and that all crises will shrink", he added, further clarifying that "the stances of Egypt, Algeria, and Iraq towards Syria are different from those of other Arab countries".
Referring to Turkey and its role in the Syrian crisis, Ambassador Abdul Karim Ali affirmed, "Turkey is in a critical internal situation, while it relations with its neighbors are not so great". He iterated that "Turkey is affected by the economic siege it imposed on Syria, for its negative affect reflected on Turkey more than it was reflected on Syria".
