Former "Israeli" Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was indicted for being involved in a bribery case, which sought to advance the alleged "Holyland luxury housing project western the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Along with 17 other "Israelis", Olmert was indicted on Thursday of offering and taking bribes to advance the said projects, and other real estate schemes in the occupied territories.
Previously in April 2010, the former "Israeli" Prime Minister was accused of accepting bribes over the construction plans, when he was still the mayor of occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) between the years 1993 and 2003.

According to a prosecution witness, who played the role of the "middleman" for aforementioned bribes, in talks he held with [then Mayor] Olmert, with chairman of the local planning and building committee [Uri] Lupolianski and with other members of the local committee, it was made clear to him that through the "give and take" method, he would achieve his desired benefits.

"The hints were from those people to me, not the reverse, because I wouldn't have dared", the witness stressed.
The enemy judiciary has proved in March 2011 that there is enough evidence to indict 18 people, including Olmert and Lupolianski over the bribery scandal.
