The Sunday Times published on Monday a report indicated that Mossad agents were behind the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan.

According to the report, Roshan's assassination was similar to those seen in "espionage films", where it was planned over a period of many months, and included intensive surveillance and intelligence gathering.
The Sunday Times' report quoted "Israeli" sources that claimed the killing was "precursor to a military strike, which would make rebuilding nuclear facilities more difficult for Iran, should they be bombed".

Moreover, the report claimed that small groups from "Israeli" Mossad agents carefully observed key areas in Tehran deemed relevant to Roshan's assassination, Haaretz "Israeli" newspaper reported. "There is zero tolerance for mistakes. By nature, every failure not only risks the neck of the agents but also risks turning into an international scandal", the "Israeli" source noted to the Sunday Times.

Also, the London-based newspaper indicated details of the assassination, stating that the 32-year-old Iranian scientist was monitored from a makeshift control room in a nearby house while he was preparing himself to go to work.
