An official source in the Syrian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Syria wonders how Qatari officials would call for sending Arab troops into the Syrian territories. In this context, the source noted that Syria strictly neglects such appeals which would tend to make the situation worse, and would rather keep away the opportunities of Arab work, and open the door for international interference in the Syrian affairs.

The same source confirmed that "the proud Syrian people with their dignity and sovereignty refuse all kinds of foreign interference in their affairs, no matter what the pretext was".
"The Syrian people will also confront any attempt to target Syria's sovereignty and the land's safety", the official source further indicated.

The source reiterated that "it would be a shame to shed Arab blood on Syrian territories to serve known agendas, especially after the conspiracy against Syria has become crystal clear".
Moreover, the Syrian source stressed, "At the time when it is abiding by its commitments towards the Arab plan, Syria calls upon the Arab countries and Arab League to exert more efforts to stop the incitement and propaganda sought to ignite the situation in Syria".

He went on to say that his country urges the official firms to prevent terrorist and weapon smuggling into the Syrian territories, so that security and stability are achieved, and therefore pave the way before the constructive national dialogue to find a political resolution in Syria.
