Qassem: Gov’t Prevented Dragging Lebanon into Syrian Crisis
Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Wednesday that "the internal Lebanese situation is the best"
"Given the regional and international conditions as well as the attempts of some Lebanese to drag foreign tutelage to Lebanon and link it to new the new US-"Israeli" Middle East axis, the Lebanese situation is the best," His Eminence viewed.
Explaining that "Hizbullah is following up the governmental situation to provide more interests to the Lebanese," Qassem confirmed that "if it had not been for Prime Minister Najib Mikati's cabinet, Lebanon would have been pushed into the Syrian crisis."
"Because of the other Lebanese side, Lebanon would have turned to a back base to sabotage both Syria and Lebanon mentioning the implications of the practical results of their bias to the "Israeli"-American project in the region," His Eminence clarified.
"The Resistance is fine. We are fully confident with the revolutionary people," he added.
Asserting that "no one owns the power cards alone," sheikh qassem called people "to remain persistent so the region does not fall under the control of the US," Qassem stressed.
