The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran Sayyed Ali Khamenei granted on Thursday clemency, and eased the sentences of some 761 prisoners.

After Iranian Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani requested, His Eminence Sayyed Khamenei agreed to pardon some 761 prisoners on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad, and the 33rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory in Iran.
