Gov’t Crisis Continue, Ban Sent a Letter to Suleiman on STL
The Arab Hysteria is randomly targeting everywhere.
They forgot all about "Israeli" official threats to storm the Holy al-Aqsa mosque and were busy meeting and deciding: UN intervention to Syria.
In the supposed scheduled meeting to discuss Palestine and "Israeli" aggressions, the only present in the US followers Arab minds was Syria.
They simply decided to drag the Arab-UN so-called peace forces against the Syrian regime and to support the so-called opposition and the big bomb was that they cut all kinds of diplomatic relations with Damascus rather than Zionist entity.
They once again had mistaken the address.
Lebanon Reserves on Arab Resolution
In details, Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal presented fallacies about what is really happening in Syria, expressing support, along with Qatari counterpart to hold the so-called "Syria Friends Conference."

This came as both Lebanon and Algeria expressed reservations against the Arab League ministerial resolutions.
In this context, Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour warned Sunday against foreign interference in Syria which would spread chaos and destruction in it, affirming that "dialogue is the only way to resolve the crisis."
Explaining that "if the Arabs want a political solution, then how they can stand with one side against another,"the Lebanese minister stressed that"the decision issued increases economic sanctions which will do no good and will affect the Syrian people."
"If the Arab League couldn't rely on itself to resolve the Syrian crisis, then how can it rely on international sides and authorize them to resolve it?" he wondered.
Future Involved in Tripoli's Arms
Moving to the internal Lebanese scene, Lebanese army imposed its control over the Tripoli arena after armed clashes between the areas of Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tabene.
According to "al-Akhbar" Lebanese daily, "the Jabal Mohsen vs. Bab al-Tabene test was successfully passed with the least possible losses amid an escalating sectarian atmosphere."

"This doesn't call for great optimism about what the coming days will carry," the paper added pointing out that "many of the raised questions did not receive adequate answers ....leaving 3 killed and 32 wounded."
Meanwhile, as "Future" bloc MP Mustafa Alloush categorically denied the relationship of his movement in any armed activity, and all what is related to the storage or transfer of arms, an official in "Future" revealed to "al-Akhbar" that the army storage which exploded in the locality Abi Samra in Tripoli was used for the transfer of arms to Syria."
"Several armed shipments were carried from the storage into Syria and those elements affiliated to the so-called "Tripoli Regiments" of "Future Movement" worked to move them," "al-Akhbar" source confirmed.
This came as religious scholars in Tripoli and the North held a meeting upon the invitation of Mufti Sheikh Malek al-Chaar, and called for "spreading state authority and protecting citizens from armed attacks."
In parallel, "an-Nahar" newspaper clarified that the "Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati returned to Beirut on Sunday, a day earlier than schedule, to contain the tension in Tripoli."
Mentioning that "upon his return, Mikati held a telephone conversation with House Speaker Nabih Berri and informed him that he returned a day earlier to end the abnormal situation" in the capital of the North."
Gov't Crisis Continues
At the level of the internal political crisis, sources told "an-Nahar" that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received a letter duly sent by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, in which he stressed his intention to grant the Special Tribunal for Lebanon a three-year extension to its mandate."
However, sources told "Daily Star" that "UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has sent a secret letter to President Michel Suleiman asking for Lebanon's comments by Feb. 15 on a plan to extend the mandate of STL for another three years."
According to the source, "Ban's letter, which requires the government to meet to give a response, was at the root of Mikati's decision earlier this month to suspend the governmental sessions."
For his part, House Speaker Nabih Berri insisted on not mediating in the governmental crisis, saying PM's decision to suspend government sessions was "unjustified."

"I hold onto my decision not to act as a mediator on the government crisis because Mikati's decision on the suspension of sessions is unjustified," Berri told "as-Safir" daily.
"There is no real problem that calls for interference," he said in other remarks to "al-Joumhouria" newspaper.
For his part, Head of "Change and Reform" Bloc MP Michel Aoun announced that "if Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas signs the transportation allowance decree, I will personally sue him before the State Shura Council."
"If Nahhas is removed from office, the government goes," Aoun added.
For his part, Nahhas reiterated in remarks to "as-Safir" that "if they can secure
two-thirds vote of the Council of Ministers, let them dimiss me, but in politics, this means that we are we are in another place."
"We are neither employee to any one, nor in a Gulf emirate, even if some people tend to move us in this direction," he stressed.
