The UN's Special Rapporteur on the right to adequate housing, Raquel Rolnik, slammed the "Israeli" enemy for its Judaisation policy implemented in the Palestinian occupied territories and in the Arab minority.

On this level, Rolnik affirmed in a Sunday statement that "Israel" is "dispossessing Palestinians in east Jerusalem [al-Quds] and the West Bank, as well as its Arab minority with a strategy of Judaisation".
After a tour in the occupied Palestinian territories, and in the Palestinian-monitored areas earlier this month, Rolnik stressed that she saw a pattern of discrimination, AFP reported.

"From the Galilee and the Negev to east Jerusalem [al-Quds] and the West Bank, the "Israeli" authorities promote a territorial development model that excludes, discriminates against and displaces minorities, particularly affecting Palestinian communities, side by side with the accelerated development of predominantly Jewish settlements", the UN Special Rapporteur said.
"As a whole, it is clear that "Israeli" policies and practices for the Palestinian population in east Jerusalem and the West Bank violate international human rights and humanitarian law", she further noted.

In the eastern part of the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem), the occupation forces have been trying to push out all the Palestinian population, through demolishing their properties and razing their lands, even sabotaging their rights, making it impossible for them to have building permits.
These people therefore are displaced, and forced away from their own territories.

Also, Rolnik shed the light on the "sire conditions faced by the population in the Gaza Strip", further indicating that harmful effects of the "Israeli" siege, especially on the housings and infrastructure of the impoverished area.
In this context, she asserted that the "Israeli" enemy is "obliged under international law to find an appropriate housing solution for the protected persons, the Palestinian residents, living under its occupation."
