74% of Arabs: “Israel”, US Two Most Threats to Region

"The Arab Index" report of 2011 was released at the center of Arab Research and Policy Studies in Doha in March 2012 concerning the Arab public mass opinion.
The report revealed that "74% of Arabs believe that "Israel" and the United States form the two most threats to the security of the Arab world while 84% of the public believes that the Palestinian issue is the cause of all Arabs, not only the Palestinians."

The report further highlighted that "there is almost unanimous public opinion in the Arab region, i.e. 84% of people whose countries have signed so-called peace agreements, refuse to recognize "Israel".
This comes as 10% of people agreed on such agreements.

Moreover, the "peace" agreements signed between the Arab parties (Egypt, and the PLO, and Jordan) and "Israel" gain an overall limited support that 21% of Arab public opinion, against the opposition of the majority to these agreements.
The report also pointed out that "the majority of Arab public opinion i.e. 55% believes that "Israel's" possession of nuclear weapons justifies for other countries in the region to seek nuclear possession.

The poll was carried out in 2011 in twelve Arab countries, namely Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine (West Bank and Gaza), Lebanon, Sudan, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania.
The margin of error of this poll does not exceed 3.5%.
