Syrian Ambassador: Syria Confident of Reforms, UNSC Statement Paralyzes Conspiracy
Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali confirmed that Syria welcomed international envoy to Syria Kofi Annan's mission, which compliments Syria's bid to manage its internal affairs and tackle all repercussions of the dangerous conspiracy.

"Syria is confident of the successes it achieves," Ambassador Ali stated, believing that the UN Security Council's (UNSC) presidential statement illustrated the domestic successes achieved by Syria.
After his meeting with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, Ambassador Abdul Karim added that "the UNSC statement paralyzed the broad international movement, which international and regional figures were betting on."
"Now it is revealed for the world that this conspiracy cannot be saved or rescued, because Syria remains firm with its internal steadfastness and reading of its positions and management of its crisis. All these confuse the anti-Syria international movement, battle, and conspiracy, until the end where the positive aspects would reflect on Syria," the Syrian Ambassador asserted.
"Syria is confident regarding its domestic steps. It [continues to] tackle its issues with serious reforms, through countering all extremists and those meddling in its internal security. The great popular awareness and cooperation, together with these reforms, give results which would reflect goodness, security, and stability [in Syria]," Ali Abdul Karim Ali added.
