Qatif Protests KSA’s Brutality against Wounded Activist
Thousands of Saudi protesters have staged a fresh anti-government demonstration in the eastern city of Qatif despite a violent crackdown on protests in the oil-rich region.

The demonstrators demanded freedom and urged the ruling al-Saud family to end the economic and religious discrimination against the eastern area
They also condemned suppression of protests, calling on Riyadh to stop attacking anti-government rallies. Saudi protesters also vowed to continue taking to the streets until their demands are met.
This came hours after the Saudi activist Mohammad al-Zanadi was dragged from a hospital by security forces despite being in critical condition.
According to activists, al-Zanadi had been receiving treatment after being shot in a clash with Saudi police on Thursday.
Security forces swarmed the Qatif Central Hospital before arresting al-Zanadi, who according to activists had been dragged away despite being close to death.
"Saudi authorities besieged the Emergency Department of the Central Hospital-Qatif and tried to arrest al-Zanadi," activists said pointing that " police moved him to a military hospital while still in critical condition."
Government media claimed that "al-Zanadi reacted violently to attempts to arrest him, shooting and injuring three security forces."
However, activists said al-Zanadi, who is "number 17" on the Saudi Ministry of Interior Affairs list of wanted activists, had been fired on without provocation.
