’’GMJ’’ Activists Arriving in Lebanon

Activists from all over the Globe arrive in Lebanon today, Wednesday, to participate in the Lebanese rally of the Global March to al-Quds, on the 30th of March.

In this context, moqawama.org learned that around 150 European activists reached Tripoli's Northern Port on Wednesday.
In parallel, a delegation of activists is to visit Wednesday Sabra and Shatila Palestinian Refugee Camp, the place were "Israeli" occupation and its Lebanese allies committed a horrible massacre that led to the martyrdom of thousands of civilian Palestinians during 1982 "Israeli" invasion to Lebanon.

On another level, moqawama.org got exclusive information that Noble Laureate Mairead Maguire is not to participate in Lebanon's rallies due to sudden sickness.

On the end of March, massive marches will be organized from Asia, Africa and Europe to and in neighboring countries of Palestine (Jordan, Eygpt, Syria and Lebanon) aiming at reaching the nearest point possible to the Holy al-Quds city.

These marches will be composed mainly of the people of each country and thousands of international solidarity participants traveling to these countries specifically to join the marches.
