“Israeli” Troops, Settlers Attack Holy Mosuqe, al-Aqsa Foundation Denounces Attack
The al-Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage issued a communiqué on Wednesday stating that dozens of "Israeli" troops and Zionist citizens broke into the holy al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem).
According to the statement, the Zionists entered the holy site through the al-Magharba Gate, and provoked the Muslim worshipers.
Moreover, the Palestinian foundation added that the "Israeli" attack led to tension in the mosque area, especially that soldiers that deployed in the area carried their guns while settlers, who were also armed, provoked many Palestinian residents as they sought to enter the holy mosque for prayers.
"Three groups of extremist settlers, and dozens of fully uniformed and armed "Israeli" soldiers, started the invasion at 7:30 a.m.," the al-Aqsa Foundation reported, adding that the total number of soldiers and settlers who conducted the attack was more than a hundred.
On this level, the Palestinian foundation denounced this attack, and called on the Arab and Islamic nations and the international community, to immediately interfere and stop the illegal violations of the extremist soldiers and settlers against the Palestinians and their sanctities.
