Syrian Foreign Ministry: Syria Won’t Deal with Any AL Initiative

The Syrian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that Syria would not deal with any initiative launched by the Arab League (AL) in its absence from the body, at any level.
On this level, the Foreign Ministry's spokesman Jihad Maqdisi noted that the attendees of the Baghdad Arab Summit are "discussing a certain Arab initiative towards Syria", SANA reported.
Also, Maqdisi indicated that since the suspension of its membership in the AL, Syria has had its relations with the Arab countries based only on a state-to-state level.
"Therefore it [Syria] won't deal with any Arab League initiative at any level in its absence", Maqdisi iterated in this context.
