Shalabi into Freedom, Exiled to Gaza
Palestinian prisoner, Hana Shalabi, has ended her hunger strike after 43 days, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Society.

In a deal to end her hunger strike, "Israel" exiled Shalabi from West Bank into besieged Gaza Strip after conditionally releasing her Sunday.
Shalabi, who met relatives on "Erez" "Israeli" checkpoint before entering Gaza, said she was "very happy to be in her country with her people."
But, she added, the encounter with her family - from Jenin in the West Bank - was very difficult.
"I was shocked meeting my family, and they were shocked to see me," she told the media on the Gaza side of "Erez". "The meeting with my family was very difficult."
Shalabi was welcomed formally by various Palestinian factions. She was later transferred by ambulance along with a medical crew to "Shifa" hospital, where her condition was described as no longer life-threatening.
Issa Qaraqe, the PA Prisoners' minister, said that "deporting Shalabi was a war crime and that she was exposed to a pressure to end the strike that she continued for over 40 days."
The terms of such expulsions violate Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits forcible transfers and deportations of protected persons.
Moreover, unlawful deportation or transfer also constitutes a grave breach of the Fourth Geneva Convention and qualifies as one of the most serious war crimes.
It is worth mentioning that Shalabi began her hunger strike after she was arrested on February 16 and held without charge in what "Israel" names as "administrative detention". She was hospitalized on March 19, after 33 days without food, with doctors saying "she had lost 14kg and her pulse was feeble."
