Minister Hajj Hassan: Speeding Up Oil File, National Benefit for Lebanon
Lebanese Agriculture Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan stated that the Lebanese government is a necessity during the current stage in order to preserve Lebanon's internal stability as well as its foreseen political role on the domestic and regional levels.
Also, Minister Hajj Hassan indicated that "the country's economic crisis could be solved by embracing new resources; i.e. benefiting from Lebanon's oil resources."
"Speeding up the oil and gas file [in the Lebanese waters and territories], is a definite national benefit for all the Lebanese people," Lebanese Agriculture Minister asserted.
"[This would help] tackle the national debt and budget deficit, restore the economic sphere, provide job opportunities, and combat poverty and unemployment; because if we won't, then time would pass without achieving any actual results in this regard," Minister Hajj Hassan further confirmed.
