Haj Hassan Rejects Intervention in Syrian Affairs, Arms Smuggling

Lebanese Minister of Agriculture said that the majority in Lebanon wants the government to take better stances on the Syrian issue. During a memorial ceremony in Baalbeck, Haj Hassan stressed the importance of preventing any foreign intervention in the Syrian affairs. He also underscored the importance of preventing the smuggling of arms into Syria.
On a related note, the minister pointed out to the important role of the Lebanese authorities in preserving Lebanon's security and stability, and protecting t from the repercussions resulting from the intervention of some Lebanese political parties.
He further noted that Lebanon and Syria, both, stand in face of terrorist cells targeting them; also confront the "Israeli" enemy, by that blood from both peoples merged together in the cause of protecting these two countries, particularly Syria, in face of conspiracy.
