MP Fadlallah: We All Want Truth on Shaban Killing, “Israel” Sole Enemy to Lebanon
Al-Jadeed TV Cameraman Ali Shaban's death a week ago has been marked at the Husayniyya mosque of his southern Lebanese home-village of Mayfadoun today.
On this sad occasion, Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah demanded that all facts surrounding the circumstances of the slaying of Sha'ban be unveiled. He stressed that the Lebanese government is responsible for unraveling the whole truth as soon as possible. Fadlallah pointed out this is a national cause and all Lebanese sides and parties condemn the crime. He underscored that nobody is permitted to exploit the killing by capitalizing on Syria and its people.
On a related note, Fadlallah reminded that the real enemy awaiting Lebanon is the "Israeli" entity which has been more than eager to see strife and calamity fall upon the heads of the region's peoples. He also reminded that this enemy has escalated its threats recently only after it failed to target the resistance through besieging Syria and after all its wagers had proved futility. He further assured that the US and "Israel's" main goal in the region is to sow strife and discord among the people and the countries, in order to divide them and dominate over the entire region.
For his part, Amal MP of the House Ali Bazzi, spoke in the same line, saying no one should even ponder the possibility of substituting Lebanon's confrontation lines with the Zionist enemy with another presumed enemy along the Syrian border.
He also assured that all Lebanon wants the truth, and waits the results of investigations of Shaban's killing.
