Raad: ’’Israel’’ Wants Syria Its Protective Shield, Resistance Foiled ’’Israel’s’’ Career

Head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance bloc" MP Mohammad Raad stressed that "the unrest created in Syria aim at securing a protective shield for the Zionist entity so that it regains control over the region."

During a commemorative ceremony in the South, Raad recalled how ""Israel" was defeated by the resistance between the years 2000 and 2006 and how its security and military structure has been shaken."
"The resistance foiled "Israel's" career that was to care and protect Western interests as well as to discipline agents of regimes that ruled the peoples of the region for over 60 years," he added.

The MP further confirmed that "the unity, strength, and the stability of Syria is a force for Lebanese unity and stability," noting that "the enemy of this region [Israeli entity] constitutes an existential and pivotal danger to the people and their future."
"The Zionist enemy is still wallowing in crisis due to the miraculous victory of the resistance in 2006," Raad stated, noting that "the July 2006 aggression aimed at eradicating Hizbullah and the spirit of resistance in our region."

In parallel, the MP asserted that "the resistance cracked the pillars and the infrastructure of the security, military and political levels of the Zionist enemy, which is still reeling despite all its continuous preparations, arming, drills, and in spite of all attempts to bridge the gaps revealed by the investigations after the war."
He went on to say ""Israel" may have the ability to acquire sophisticated strategic weapons, but the important factor it lacks and will never acquire a small portion of is the spirit of the resistance in Lebanon: the spirit of faith, fortitude, persistence and adherence to the truth and the willingness to sacrifice in order to protect the nation and its people."

"We are no longer waiting this enemy to assault because it's fully aware that the fate of its entity is to be questioned," he added, highlighting ""Israel" thinks a million times before attacking Lebanon as the face of the region and the equations that govern will critically change in sake of the interest of the people, this nation, and the spirit of the resistance."

On the internal scene, Raad said that "the general discussion session to be held within a few days will witness lots of gossips regarding electoral draft laws and the electoral media campaigns for candidates."
He also stated that for certain parties, the national interest is the last thing on their priority list," pointing out that " the permanent government is for all the Lebanese, because it provided several services for the opposition before the pro-government forces."
