Imam Khamenei: Iran Source of Inspiration for Islamic Awakening

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei praised the recent Islamic awakening movement.
"After seeping into the minds and bodies of Muslim nations for more than three decades, this very important movement has now surfaced in the form of a concentrated power, whose results are the developments in Egypt and some other countries," Imam Khamenei said.
In a meeting with the Iranian Army Ground Force commanders, the Leader said that "the bullying powers are hostile toward Iran because it is a source of inspiration for the popular uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa."
Sayyed Khamenei also viewed that "the hegemonic powers allege that their armies are serving their national interests whereas their armed forces have been put at the service of political ambitions and safeguarding tyrannical regimes."
"National interests have no meaning for them," His Eminence said, accusing the US army of massacring Iraqi and Afghan people since it had invaded the country."
"Does the massacre of Iraqi and Afghan people really serve the US national interest?" Ayatollah Khamenei wondered.
On the internal level, His Eminence hailed the Iranian Armed Forces for their capabilities and strength.
Ayatollah Khamenei urged the Iranian Ground Forces to reinvigorate their logistic power.
"The Armed Forces should proceed with boosting the spirit of resistance and the commanders must acquire the latest know-how, the spiritual strength, and the sense of sincerity so that they do not depend on the earthly world," His Eminence stated.
