Supreme Leader Receives Iraqi PM
His Eminence Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, confirmed that Iraq has restored its effective Arab position in the region.
Sayyed Khamanei stressed that "efforts seeking augmentation of Iraq's power, through the constant educational Jihad and constructive renaissance, will lead to successes and will double the relation [status] between the people and the government."

Also, he warned the people of Iraq to remain alert against dangers surrounding their country.
During his meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, Sayyed Khamenei confirmed, "Some issues and causes witnessed in Baghdad in the few past months indicate the Iraqi people's and government's power in the Arab and Islamic worlds."
"The US army's complete withdrawal from Iraq is one of the important reasons which proved the government's power and the Iraqi popular will," he stated.
"Holding the Arab Summit in Baghdad stands as another evidence for the Iraqi capabilities," Sayyed Khamenei added, confirming that some parties swiftly and broadly sought to place Iraq outside its Arab world.
Moreover, the Supreme Leader noted that "however, convening the Arab Summit in Baghdad, and the latter's presidency of the Arab League, foiled the attempts to exclude it [Iraq] from the regional arena."
His Eminence further called upon the Iraqis to build a state through embracing the youth, promoting the country, and serving the citizens in all Iraqi territories. Sayyed Khamenei expected in this regard that the Iraqis would reach a "brighter than ever" future.
