Moussawi Meets Plumbly, Expresses Resentment Over Ki-moon’s Remarks on Resistance Arms

Hizbullah International Relations Official Ammar Moussawi received on Wednesday UN Secretary General's Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly. Both sides discussed local Lebanese issues, particularly the security status, the upcoming parliamentary elections, and the situation on the borders with the occupied Palestinian territories.
During the meeting, Moussawi expressed resentment regarding UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's remarks about the resistance weapons, in the periodic report issued by the UN on the resolution 1559.
