MP Moussawi Slams Burning Copies of Holy Quran

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member MP Hussein Moussawi slammed the aggressive act of burning copies of the Holy Quran in the US.
US Pastor Terry Jones burned copies of the Holy Quran and a depiction of the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) after immersing them in Kerosene last Saturday. The burning, attended by 20 people was unashamedly streamed live over the Internet.
Moussawi assured that this blatant act supported by the US administration and international Zionism is intolerable. He said the Arab and Islamic nations should protest against desecrating the Holy book and promoting Islamophobia.
"Such a dangerous act should come to an end," Moussawi stressed, explaining that "efforts should come together in face of the US violence and its autocratic project."
MP Moussawi highlighted "the US White House endorses a policy of total-support for "Israel", provides it with arms and missiles, and gives it the ‘sole right' to destruct Lebanon and strike its stability and security. It also targets Lebanon's natural resources and riches, to satiate its greed."
Meanwhile, the MP noted that Iran, which is an everyday target to the US and "Israel" has proved to be a role model for supporting the poor, needy and oppressed, giving a true example of Islamic teachings and lifestyle.
On the Jeffrey Feltman visit to Lebanon, Moussawi said that this US step comes in context of prompting strife among the Lebanese, and shaking mutual living.
Feltman's visit, according to Moussawi, is an attempt to hijack Lebanese decision and use it as a strategic service from which the US would benefit.
