MP Fayyad: Syrian Crisis Entered Dangerous Tunnel with Negative Repercussions

Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member Ali Fayyad considered that the bombs targeting the Syrian capital are evidences that "the game slipped from everyone's hands, and the Syrian crisis entered a dangerous tunnel, that no one can overcome its negative repercussions."
"Our biggest concern today is how to protect Lebanon from these repercussions," MP Fayyad stressed.
He clarified that the "inciting stances and practices, and confiscated smuggled weapons, are but witnesses to attempts to pull Lebanon into the Syrian complications, and contribute to transferring the Syrian fire into Lebanon."
"Lebanon has had enough of crises, it does not need a security dilemma added up to the financial and electoral dilemmas; where the first threatens stability, the second shuts down state firms, and the third locates the country at the edge of the unknown," Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc Member went on to say.
"Citizens wonder why isn't the internal political game restored to its natural borders, [which would] therefore relate only to the Lebanese national interest without any other," Fayyad added.
"The whole region is passing through a transitional stage due to change and turmoil. [...] It is everyone's duty to protect Lebanon from [these] negative repercussions, especially in triggered sectarian conflict," he stated.
