Senior Intelligence Officers Resign over Chief's Preferential Treatment

Three senior IDF intelligence officers resigned recently following the appointments to key positions made by Brig. Gen. Aviv Kochavi. Several officers asked the state comptroller for an external investigation into the matter. Army spokesman called the report a baseless rumor.

With respect to students of religious schools, the Minister of "defense" is supposed to give an 8-year delay for the service, and in some cases, exempting 1000 "A" students per year from the service.
