Loyalty to the Resistance MP Ali Fayyad stressed Friday that "the month of May is that of pride and dignity as it commemorates our blessed return to this land [South Lebanon]with full dignity and pride."
Fayyad's statement came in his speech during the raise of the resistance and victory banner in the "Khiam" hill in face of the "Israeli" Motleh settlement in Occupied Palestine.
"With the annual return of May, we feel the breeze of the resistance and restore the feelings of loyalty to every martyr and injured person," Fayyad said.
He further confirmed the resistance's adherence to the Lebanese sovereignty and "our right to defend it."
The MP recalled the symbolism of the place that witnessed the famous resistance's massacre against "Israeli" Merkava tanks during 2006 aggression against Lebanon.
"If the "Israeli" enemy returned the attempt to occupy our land, or attack our people, this community with its people, army, and resistance are ready to defend the country's sovereignty in face of the "Israeli" aggressions."
Fayyad also highlighted that "the resistance has the right to defend the land."
He confirmed that "the resistance's weapons aren't part of the arms of the sectarian division, or temptation, and internal division," and pointed out that "these weapons are used for national unity and to preserve Muslim and Christian Lebanese rights."
He further called all the Lebanese sides to rally around the national Lebanese Army in face of the weapons of idleness, division, and conflicts.
The MP commented on Tripoli's clashes by urging political sides to show all types of unity "to spread Tripoli's stability to the whole country."
