Saheli: Future Movement Proved It’s A Militia
The Loyalty to the resistance bloc MP Nawar Saheli stressed that "in the recent incidents, the Future Movement militia carried a vicious armed assault against the Arab Party center in the heart of the capital, Beirut."
In his Tuesday's statement, Saheli mentioned that "the Future militia had shot various types of military weapons and rocket propelled grenades which resulted in the spread of fear among civilians."
"Away from all the previous Future claims, these acts can be classified only in the box of the attempts to impose opinions and to militarily control the scene," the MP viewed.
He also said: "it has become evident and clear to everyone that the Future party can't accept the other's opinion, especially if this opinion is contrary to its orientations and foreign bets."
"With its armed militia, the Future Party prevents the state to play its role," Saheli clarified and noted that "this party is trying to substitute the state when it's not under its command or political mood."
In parallel, the MP emphasized that "the tragic events which led to the death of several Lebanese citizens, confirm that the Future Movement is a militia."
"The country's capital, Beirut, has the right of to enjoy security and peace of away from the actions of this terrorist militia," he asserted.
Saheli further called the authorities to arrest and prosecute abusers and violators of security laws and regulations.
