Iranian Cultural Delegation Visits Fatima Gate, Maroun al-Ras Garden: South Lebanon

An Iranian delegation including head of the cultural committee and Islamic Relations in the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Khoramshad, the Cultural councelor of the Islamic Republic Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Zadeh, in addition to a number of Iranian cultural advisors who work in several Arab and Islamic countries, visited the Fatima Gate on Wednesday at the Lebanese-Palestinian borders.

A mass of persons and scholars welcomed the delegation, where the Imam of Kafarkila village Sayyed demonstrated a terse presentation on the major stations through which the region passed, from [Israeli] occupation to the Resistance Operations and liberations, also he elaborated on the Zionist settlements built on the land of Occupied Palestine.

The delegation then, headed to Maroun al-Ras Garden, which was built by the Islamic Republic. Former Deputy Hassan Huballah welcomed the delegation, and took them on a tour in the garden.

The delegation also met with one of the Resistance fighters, who narrated stories from the heroic confrontations of the Resistance fighters with the Zionist entity which had launched an aggressive war on Lebanon in July 2006. He pointed out the events of that war, reminding of the defeat "Israel" had reaped from the war.
At the end of the tour, Hizbullah held a lunch banquet in honor of the visitors.
