Sheikh Qaouk: Those Who Target Resistance Arms Try to Divert Attention From Smuggling Arms To Syria
The Deputy Head of Hizbullah's Executive Council His Eminence Sheikh Nabil Qaouk stressed that "those who raise the issue of the resistance weapons at this time aim to divert attention from their smuggling of arms to Syria."
In his speech at the martyrdom ceremony of one of the resistance men in Hermel, Sheikh Qaouk accused "these sides of distributing arms of sedition and alleyways to threaten the country's stability."
"They do not want to establish a defense strategy to fright "Israel"," he confirmed and pointed that "they want to target both Lebanon and Syria together."
His Eminence further emphasized that "the resistance will remain as long as the "Israeli" threat and aggression against Lebanon persist."
"We must bolster the resistance's military capabilities day after day in order to confront the occupier and any possible "Israeli" aggression,"Qaouk said.
In parallel, His Eminence considered that "those who ignore the "Israeli" dangers are in a suspicious position as they are committing a major national sin."
"We are not surprised if there exists a Lebanese team that doesn't support the resistance," he added and noted that "we do not wait for those who participate in the "Israeli" invasion of 1982, and who agreed to be a US tool to support resistance."
Sheikh Qaouk stated that "at this stage, we feel that we are in the resistance's spring days of glory."
"Despite all the regional and international developments, the resistance succeeded in increasing its military, political and popular power," His Eminence assured.
He concluded that "these facts led to a US-"Israeli" panic of the resistance, which forms a main obstacle in their way."
