Speaker Berri: Those Who Don’t Want Resistance Must Put an End for Occupation

Lebanese Speaker of Parliament, Nabih Berri, confirmed that "those who don't want the resistance should put an end for the occupation."
He stressed that there is no guarantee for unity but through protecting the Army, believing that "at this political moment, we [the Lebanese] cannot guarantee unity with acceptance, but through protecting the army and demanding the state's army, not that of some parties and sects."
Moreveor, Berri regretted how Lebanon is still blundering in the sectarian nature, and does not initiate change. On this level, he indicated that the defense strategy, represented by the army, people, and resistance, should be adopted in accordance to the principle that prevents the Lebanese from neglecting their land, water, and aerial sovereignty.
"Those who do not want the resistance must put an end for the occupation. We cannot accept that the resistance is hindered," Berri added.
""Israel" is still violating Lebanon's sovereignty, occupying parts of our land, stealing our national resources, and assaulting the Palestinians' right to life," Lebanese Speaker iterated.
Also, Berri believed, "We still didn't learn from the [previous] lessons, and we are still hesitant towards dialogue."
"The Lebanese are still carrying their concerns and standing before sectarian barricades," he further noted.
"We have some hope, and we holdfast on our faith that Lebanon will achieve victory [...] and Lebanon's history will lead us to our inner peace and national peace which should be an example for co-existence," Speaker Berri indicated.
