Minister Hajj Hassan: No Freedom, Sovereignty without Force Defending Country, People
Lebanese Minister of Agriculture, Hussein Hajj Hassan, stated that in the memory of July War, "We [Hizbullah] reaffirm the importance of the resistance as a path, approach and weapon."
"We stress the equation of army, people, resistance, defending Lebanon, and our holding fast to the national unity, coexistence, and dialogue for [what serves] the best of Lebanon," Minister Hajj Hassan added.
In a speech he delivered in the concluding ceremony of the "2012 Good Tree" Project launched by Hizbullah Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, to plant 8 million and 490 thousand trees in all Lebanese territories, Minister Hajj Hassan asserted that "defending Lebanon would only be with elements of power."
On this level, he clarified that "freedom, sovereignty, and independence are not achieved without a force that defends the state, land, people, sovereignty, independence, and dignity of a hometown."
"The [UN] Security Council and the UN failed to implement resolution "425" [that states] restoring the Lebanese territories from 1978 till 2000; and the Zionist enemy did not withdraw but with the strikes of the resistance, which achieved victory," Lebanese Agricultural Minister reiterated.
